A rusty old truck, a strong back, and a dream. That’s all it took for Lou Amiano Sr. to start his small New Jersey construction company back in 1968. With a simple goal of helping homeowner’s realize their home remodeling dreams, Lou Sr. built a company based on trust and a dedication to his craft.
41 years later in 2009 Lou’s son, Lou Jr., took the reigns to continue the Amiano and Son legacy. Having grown up in the construction and remodeling industry, Lou Jr. has a lifetime of industry knowledge. And by combining that know-how with today’s cutting edge technology and latest design trends, Lou has built a national award-winning company right here in Tabernacle, New Jersey. Fifty years and hundreds of happy customers later, Amiano and Son is your partner in making your home remodel dreams come true.
Louis Amiano, Jr.
Lou has a lifetime of knowledge and education in business, production, and carpentry, as well as a keen eye for design. And over the past nine years since Lou took over the operations of Amiano And Son, he has develop and incorporate many key processes in the company that has helped lead to it’s success. It’s through his demand for consistent quality and customer service that Lou has created an award-winning remodeling company that specializing in design+build construction.
Fun Fact: He traveled to Super Bowl 46 with his dad and saw the Giants win.
Marketing & Client Relations
Wendy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Rowan University. She’s a seasoned Marketing & Public Relations Professional with experience working for companies like Kodak, South Jersey Chamber of Commerce, and Waste Management. After several years working for major corporations, she joined Lou in the family business. Since then, she’s helped brand and grow Amiano And Son into one of New Jersey’s leading remodeling firms. And it’s her public relations background that serves as a great knowledge-base for carrying out the customer service processes she and Lou put together. “I fought Lou all the time about us working together before I joined him. Now I can’t imagine doing anything else. The construction industry is challenging and rewarding to work in. It keeps you feeling alive and motivated to strive for success in a very competitive industry.”
Fun Fact: Wendy grew up on a farm and her daily tasks included taking care of the cows, chickens, pigs, and rabbits.
Pete has over 17 years experience in the residential building & remodeling industry. He’s a Professional Project Manager who offers clients a wealth of knowledge in construction. Pete has worked in all facets of the remodeling field including estimating, design, management, carpentry, scheduling and the streamlining processes. Pete’s goal is to work with you to complete your project to complete satisfaction, on time and on budget.
Fun Fact: Pete has worked on many antique cars from a Model T to a ’57 Chevy Pickup.
Mary Beth Brodtman
Mary Beth is our Bookkeeper with over 30 years of experience. She has worked in construction for 21 years and with Amiano for 7 years so she knows her way around the industry. She is truly an asset to our company.
Fun Fact: She’s a rock’n’roll enthusiast and has attended Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, and Iron Maiden concerts.
Marketing & Administrative Assistant
Amanda Seeland is our Marketing & Administrative Assistant who comes with experience from a Philly Orthodontist. She attended Rowan University with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and grew up locally in Tabernacle. She is eager to learn the remodeling industry and assisting in our marketing and events.
Fun Fact: While traveling to Alaska she panned for her own gold at Eldorado Gold Mine.
Sophia is our marketing and administrative intern. She’s currently a senior in high school and is looking forward to college and expanding her horizons. She would like to study business administration or digital marketing.
Fun Fact: She has had a record catch – just not a record fish. A giant black eel decided to chomp down on her fishing line while out in the bay.
Joe is your personal guide throughout the entire design+build experience with the mutual goal of a functional new space. As a member of our sales and design team, Joe works with clients to create custom designs for additions, kitchen remodels, bath remodels, home additions and more. He grew up working on remodeling projects with his grandfather, Lou Amiano, Sr. From there he learned both interior and exterior design. And his certifications in Certainteed Siding, Design Layout, and Wincore Windows means he’s more than qualified to make your experience the best it can be. You’ll enjoy working with Joe as he is friendly, personable, and a good listener.
Fun Fact: When Joe was 5 years old, he modeled for a clothing company.
Gianna may look small and sweet but she packs a mighty punch when it comes to powerful design. With a Design degree from Philadelphia School of Arts, she’s professionally trained to design any size or style space and her years of experience designing everything from small areas to entire homes means your design will be incredible. She even ran her own interior design and furniture store working with clients to design and decorate their space before coming on board with Amiano And Son. Gianna is an open-minded friendly designer who listens to what you have to say and she’ll work along with you to create the space you want within a budget that you need.
Fun Fact: She is the mother of five children, 2 boys and 3 girls, a dog, a cat, and 3 bunnies.
Keith has over 16 years of experience in the construction industry and 7 years as an electrician. He has been with Amiano for a little over a year and a half, but he has already become a key part of our team. He studied Liberal Arts at Rider University.
Fun Fact: Keith is a thrill seeker and has jumped off high cliffs and quarries in Jim Thorpe, most notably Glenoka Falls Bridge.
Anthony has over 30 years of experience in construction and over 15 years as a project manager. He has been seasoned in all aspects of remodeling, so we are happy to have him on our team. Even though he has years of experience under his belt, he says there is so much more he is ready to learn working with the Amiano team.
Fun Fact: While teaching skiing in Michigan, he wrestled a brown bear, dressed as a brown bear.
Paul comes to us with 5 years of construction experience – both residential and commercial, but has been around the industry his whole life. His family has a long history of trades, mainly carpenters. He knew he wanted to pursue a career in construction because he takes pride in what he does.
Fun Fact: Like many of our team, he likes to fish and cook, but also enjoys gardening on his days off.
Joe’s an experienced carpenter who has worked in the construction field for over 25 years. His carpentry skills are that of a prided craftsman with an eye for detail. He takes his time with each client’s project and is committed to making happy clients. Joe has a Certainteed Craftsmanship Certification as well as his Amiano Frame Out Certification.
Fun Fact: When he isn’t at work, he is an avid golfer with a mean backswing.
Brandon is one of our Carpenter’s Apprentices. He was born and raised in Tabernacle, NJ, right down the road from Amiano. He is excited to be part of the team and can’t wait to learn everything he can with us.
Fun Fact: He is ordained in the state of NJ.
Brett has grown up in Tabernacle along with many other of our Amiano team. He started with over a year of carpentry experience. He is excited to grow with Amiano and is ready to learn all he can about the trades.
Fun Fact: At one point in his life, he owned 8 huskies.
We generally service Mercer, Burlington, Atlantic, Camden, and Ocean Counties, and into some parts of Gloucester County. This helps us ensure we are within a short drive of our home base so that we can better service your project. It also means you’ll have convenient access to our showroom for design inspiration and meetings.
